SUPPORTING THE MS TRUST

The local pub, The Hop Blossom’, are holding a ‘Blossoms Day’ on 2nd April to raise money for the MS Trust (multiple sclerosis) and have arranged for a Bar B Q, Auction, Raffle, Live Music, Dog Races and an Evening Meal. In addition one of the customers, Jackie Middleton, who lost her brother to the disease, will be taking part in a sponsored bike ride from Lands End to John O’Groats.

The Hedgehogs were approached for help and it was decided to contribute £500 towards the special day and £250 towards the sponsored bike ride. Nigel Parcell, who suffers from the disease, presented the cheque to the event committee as shown below.
